Pregnancy tests and Hay bags; Jo’s Appointment

If you or your significant other have ever taken a pregnancy test you know that those minutes of waiting are pure torture. Things run through your mind…..Is it positive? Is it negative?

In about two hours we will know if Jo is indeed in foal with a Major Duomo foal. We were a bit concerned as she had a slight amount of bloody, discolored drainage a week post live cover. The vet said may be due to a miscarriage of an early embryo. Then the fluid went clear, and vet said go ahead and keep the sonogram appointment.

So here we are fourteen days later and about to head to the vet again for a sonogram. The girls are excited to go and hopefully we get to see a little blob on the sonogram screen. Updates to come!

Funny how we can get connected over the internet, isn’t it?? My fingers are crossed for you!! 🙂

      • Honestly I am hoping for a filly so I can carry on their lines if they are of good health and build. But. I will be happy for a healthy foal either way, filly or colt! Thanks for the support and I’ll post before I even leave the vet hospital!
