What’s For Supper on the HK Bar?

Spaghetti and meatballs! Spaghetti is a staple for you busy farm household, but I have to admit I usually don’t make meatballs….. Ok I’ve never made meatballs. Ever. Until tonight. But I figure they must be like meatloaf, you know how you can’t really mess up a meatloaf? I’m hoping that’s how my meatballs turn out!

Anyway to get started I made these noodles on the stove top.

And I am using our own home made canned tomato/pasta sauce from tomatoes out of the garden.

Now for the meatballs. I dethawed 2.5# of hamburger raised and butchered right here on the HK Bar. I chopped half of a small white onion. I mixed those together in a bowl and added a dash of seasoning salt, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, and a dash of garlic powder.

Then I continued to mix that mess together and make the actual meat balls. I threw them in a pan and baked them in the oven on 500°F for about thirty minutes.

Then I threw it all together and voila spaghetti and meatballs. I hope I was right about meatballs being like meatloaf!

What’s your favorite recipe? I’d love to hear it! Please help a woman out and hand over your best supper recipe!

Thanks in advance!
