Flash and I finished up lead training today when I turned her and Louise out to the Little Big pasture.
She haltered well in the Stall and only pushed her nose skyward a few times before I got her halter on. She was respectful of my space and executed all her stop, back up, go left, go right excersizes. I could tell she was ready to stretch her legs so I turned her loose.
She flew across the pasture bucking and kicking.
And finally simmered down after about thirty minutes.
Then she headed straight to the hay bale.
Tonight will be the first full night for Flash staying out in the Little Big Pasture with the miniature horse herd. I feel like I’ve sent one of my daughters for her first overnight. Ill be checking her every few hours through the night though, so that should ease my mind.
Until next time!
