This book is about the scars, trials and tribulations that war inflicts not only on soldiers, but on thier families as well. A twisted story of a young woman and her veteran husband suffering the after effects of war…..her troubled nonexistent father…..and the memories they are all trying to overcome.
This is possibly one of the strangest books I have read. The pace was quick and the characters were vivid to the readers mind. The story line made sense, but didn’t make quite the impact on me I thought it would at the conclusion. I would recommend this book to someone who wants to journey away from a typical read. It is strangely touching, and equally confusing. Not my favorite book, bit I didn’t feel like my time was wasted.
Until my next review!
