Flash; Flinthillspaintedlady Day #73

Flash and her miniature horse Twinkie, Grace.

We received nearly an inch of rain last night. And it’s still in the low forties, so I’m not going to complain about the mud. It is better than the snow and ice and cold driving winds……only because this may be the beginning of Spring. Ok, maybe I’m being optimistic….

Flash and her miniature horse Twinkie, Grace are always first up to the feeders. I guess you can tell from thier ever expanding physique. I had to cut back Flash’s feed ration a bit as she has started stealing a bit from the mini horse bunk. The minis all eat together, pig trough style.

This morning Flash nickered her hello and gently implored my hands and back asking for her breakfast. She never nibbles, and no other signs of disrespect, its more of a smelling search. I have to admit I quite enjoy her morning antics. I see more of her personality each day.

Until next time, I’ll be gladly grooming through the mud, hoping and praying Spring will be my reward. Hopefully sooner than later.

    • Thank you! We really enjoy them. Four “big” horses and six miniature horses keep me busy for sure! And nothing wrong with riding other people’s! As long as you are feeding your horse passion, that’s all that matters!
