Flash; Flinthillspaintedlady Day #74-75

Flash was a bit impatient for her breakfast this morning. She bobbed her head up and down and nickered expectedly. Do you know what that earned her

? Getting fed last is what! I teach manners in this barn.

When I filled her breakfast container she seemed a bit embarrassed with herself. She stood quietly and submissively. Some people say people give horses human emotions, I beg to differ! Although, I do agree that horses do think a bit differently than people, I have no doubt they feel anger, happiness, curiosity, and love.

So today was a bit of tough love for my baby Flash today. She is getting so big! I can hardly believe how much she has grown since she has started her life here on the HK Bar.

  1. I think that is a good thing you are teaching her manners. So often I go into people homes (and I go into a lot of homes in my job) and their pets rule the house. Manners in pets is a good thing in pets and humans.
